Q : Please introduce yourself and also share your vision and mission or goals in life.

Answer: I am Vasant Kute from Pune city associated as partner with NJ since last 3 years. Here before i worked in Scheduled Bank as Sr.Branch manager for 18 years.

My vision is –

A. To enrol every person in touch with me, for the importance of Financial Education and enriching their lives with the utilization of the same.

B. Diffusion of Financial Education at each level of the society.

Q : What inspired you to choose the career of financial advisor/distributor?

Answer: I choose this profession as, in my view, there is lot of scope in respect of Financial literacy in our country. Due to lack of this awareness, people are facing challenges accomplishing their financial goals, which can only be resolved with the help of dispersion of Financial Education/literacy.

Q : Do you promote the idea of savings through MF SIP in your clients?

Answer: Yes, I mostly promote for SIP only. It’s a very easy & simple way for general public to invest in Equity Asset Class.

Q : Client communications is an integral part of your business. Please share any best practices/services related to communications adopted by you.

Answer: I effectively used Whats App to communicate with clients. I keep sharing my articles (written in my words), short messages and marketing quotes to existing as well as potential clients through broadcast groups. Due to which my existing clients are updated with latest information and potential clients are getting converted into clients. A communication media - What’s App has substantial contribution in expansion of my business. I am also using MCS BIZmall services to advertise the financial products which are very helpful to increase business opportunities.

Q : How much importance do you give to insurance in your advisory practice?

Answer: Insurance has exclusive importance in Financial Planning. It is incomplete without insurance. Every Family must have minimum Term Plan for each earning member & family floater Mediclaim policy.

Emergency Fund, Insurance Planning, Investment Planning, are also important factors of financial Planning.

Q : How do you educate and convince your clients for mutual funds especially the first time investor?

Answer: Every investor should have investments in every asset class such as Real Estate, Gold, Bank/ postal deposits and also in equities. But a direct investment in shares is risky & complicated for new investors. For direct investments in shares one should have knowledge, sufficient time, money & should be ready to analyse the Financials of such companies. However, a common man can create wealth in long term; with the consistent investment in mutual funds. through SIPs.

Q : Your experience with Nj's technology initiatives in terms of various Desks for clients & Partners?

Answer: The technology has played significant role in the growth of NJ. It’s very pleasant experience to have updated & user friendly technology both for us as well as for clients. Due to advanced technology we have very less impact on the business even during holidays or lockdown period.

Q : What advantages do you feel Nj Ewealth offers to both clients and partners?

Answer: E-wealth is a wonderful platform which provides transaction facility from any corner of the world. With the help of this facility, I have acquired clients from other cities of Maharashtra across India and across globe. E-Wealth is very easy to operate for clients as well as Partners. I am doing 100% transactions on E-Wealth only.I have also taught my clients how to use E-Wealth through Desktop and through Mobile app.

Q : Self evalution and assessment is something we all should do regularly. How do you assess your own self and/or your business ?Are there any specific parameters you refer to?

Answer: Self-evaluation is the primary factor in the every business. It helps for continues improvement & growth. Setting annual goals & monthly review of the same is very important for taking corrective actions required if any. At the beginning of the Financial year, I set parameters as per business planning with Nj officials and work accordingly.

Q : How much importance do you give to Asset Allocation & Risk Profile while offering solutions to clients needs?

Answer: In my opinion, there is no option for Asset Allocation if you expect good Returns on Investment. In case of Lumpsum Investment, I recommended MARS only; as at present there is no such other proven tool of investment in Mutual Funds in India.

Q : Winning the trust of a client is not an easy task. How do you think you can win the trust of clients?

Answer: I believe that consistent and long term investment can only create the wealth. I am also a consistent and long term investor. My family has a significant amount of SIP. Even I share this with my clients. I am always focusing on customer satisfaction. I always take cognizance of clients queries and guide them from time to time.

Q : What suggestion/advice you would like to give to new Partners who have not yet established themselves into the business?

Answer: I believe that, if I can do this, why can’t you? Nothing is impossible. One can achieve the Target if has strong will power to do it. It is possible only with the in-consistent efforts, consistency and planning.

Q : Can you share please share your short term and long term goals?

Answer: At present I have total AUM of Rs.10 Crores & Live SIP of Rs.25 Lakhs per month. In next three years it will reach to Rs.50 Crores total AUM & Rs.1 Crore live SIP per month. However, Insurance premium collection will also reach upto Rs. 35 Lakhs annually.

Q : Have you acquainted yourself with the current lock-down situation due to pandemic COVID-19? What is your experience for business continuity & its growth? Did you find it difficult?

Answer: There is no much impact of Lockdown on my business growth. I have booked new SIPs of Rs.3.16 Lakhs during this period. Various seminars conducted by NJ have benefited me and my clients in various aspects.

Q : Share your thoughts on NJ Digital Talks? Whether you and your clients are benefited from it or not. Also, tell us your feedback on some initiatives were announced by NJ considering the current situation.

Answer: NJ digital has covered the various topics of financial advisory business, which is very useful to update our knowledge. NJ has utilized the lock down period very efficiently and effectively. Anyone can be eagerly waiting for such wonderful webinars or seminars. NJ take cares of every partner as a family. We are working as a family. I am very grateful to NJ for their contribution in my journey, without which it would not have possible to reach at this point of success smoothly.
